Brave Olivia Newton-John seen for first time since revealing breast cancer has returned and spread as she exits Santa Barbara grocery store alone

- But on Sunday the Grease actress was seen strolling with ease in Santa Barbara
- The beauty, 68, was picking up items like cat food at El Rancho Market Place
Olivia Newton-John revealed in late May that her breast cancer had returned and spread to her back.
And on Monday the 68-year-old Grease star looked healthy as she was spotted for the first time since she updated her fans about her health.
The blonde Have You Ever Been Mellow singer was leaving the Santa Barbara grocery store El Rancho Market Place by herself.

The Australian star leaned on her grocery cart a bit as she exited the shop.
The Suddenly singer walked at a good clip, contradicting reports from New Idea that she was bedridden and having difficult moving about.
A source told the publication: 'To see her unable to walk or get out of bed because the pain is so severe is incredibly rattling. We are very worried.'
Newton-John appeared nicely done up for her trip to the store on Sunday where she bought cat food and other items.

The Xanadu star had on a beige-and-white striped top and grey slacks with sensible black shoes with thick rubber soles.
The Totally Hot singer wore her blonde locks short and had her makeup nicely done with dark pink lipstick. Dark sunglasses stayed perched on her nose as she loaded her SUV with filled recyclable bags.
Last week the Magic hit maker - best known for her role as Sandy in 1978's Grease with John Travolta - released a statement to People.
'I'm totally confident that my new journey will have a positive success story to inspire others!' she said.

She signed off: 'Love and light, Olivia.'

Her husband John Easterling, 65, also talked to People.
'We both have the same unshakable belief that she’s going to have a wonderful success story,' he said.
'We’re not trying to be positive. We have an absolute knowingness that we can turn this around.'

The Summer Nights singer is 'currently undergoing a short course of photon radiation therapy supplemented with other natural wellness therapies,' according to People.
The weekly added she has been spending time at her Southern California ranch.
Her pain has gone from [level] 8 to about a 2, said John. 'I am encouraging her to tune out everything and focus on herself,' he said.

She has been in treatment for a week.
It was added Olivia will return to the stage this summer, friends told People.
Her friend Beth Nielsen Chapman added: 'If anybody can power through this with amazing determination, it's Olivia.'
She is best known for her role opposite Travolta in 1978's Grease
Pal Leeza Gibbons said: 'She's not naive and doesn’t get immobilized. She finds light in the darkest corners and just always has.'
She was first treated for breast cancer in 1992, at the age of 43. She underwent a partial mastectomy, chemotherapy and breast reconstruction.
A statement on her social media on last week read: 'The back pain that initially caused her to postpone the first half of her concert tour, has turned out to be breast cancer that has metastasized to the sacrum.
'In addition to natural wellness therapies, Olivia will complete a short course of photon radiation therapy and is confident she will be back later in the year, better than ever, to celebrate her shows.'
Olivia said: 'I decided on my direction of therapies after consultation with my doctors and natural therapists and the medical team at my Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre in Melbourne, Australia.'

The message concluded with a statement that the actress will not be accepting requests for interview and that fans can request refunds for the June concert dates directly from the venues.
Olivia herself posted to Facebook explaining: 'I have had a long running issue with sciatica and I need to take this time to rest and deal with this very painful condition.
'My husband John is taking great care of me and I want to thank all my family, friends and fans for their concern, love, support and good wishes.
'I look forward to returning to performing soon!' she concluded.

Around the same time, Olivia's daughter Chloe Lattanzi asked fans for 'healing prayers'.
The 31-year-old took to Instagram with a photo of herself and her mother and wrote: 'I love u mama. Miss U so much. Will all of u send healing prayers for my mamas back please [sic]'
She added: 'I believe in the power of positive thinking and energy. Love u all [sic]'
The Grease star has been touring her album LIV ON, an 11-song collection about overcoming trauma, including her battle with breast cancer and losing her sister Rona to brain cancer in 2013.

'As a group, it's our intention with this album to create songs with a message of compassion and hope,' she said.
After her well-documented battle in the Nineties, she championed breast cancer awareness and in 2008 built the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre in Melbourne, Australia.
Olivia shares daughter Chloe with ex-husband Matt Lattanzi.
The Physical hitmaker has been married to John Easterling since June 2008. John is founder and president of natural remedy firm, Amazon Herb Company.
She also dated cameraman Patrick McDermott for nine years on and off until his mysterious disappearance following a 2005 fishing trip off the Californian coast.
